I like the shades and colors but characters are lacking. They really stand out - I feel like they are on seperate layers instead of being in the picture as a part of it. Seriously if you removed them the pictrure would be so much better. The way the right one is turning her head is argh - reminds me of Exorcist.

The energy from the eye could have been done differently. I feel it's too much in the front instead of bending to go behind the skull. Aside from that really good piece. I find something funny (ina positive sense) about the skull shape.
