First thought: game sponsored and developed by Taylor Swift :)

I agree with people complaing about difficulty. I end up mashing the right button to pass the test instead of "pressing the right button in given time space" - this is not working as quickevents should. Game is really punishing if you fail as you not only lose life but you lose a progress as well (you are being pushed to the left).

If the game is difficult and we know it is it would be a good idea to make restart from keyboard. Switching to mouse just to restart a game is unnecessary complication, I was considering closing the game because of it.

Music just got me irritated.

Graphic was fun - it was crappy in a good oldschool kind of way.

Story didn't move me. I was hoping for something more fun.

Like for throphies, many developers ignore it. poor choice of colors for throphies. It's grey so I was wondering if it's really unlocked.

Overall: I had some fun. If everything was perfect I would score 3.5 but almost all elements require improvements (music, story, overall game design) so I'm giving 2.5.

Harlemblack responds:

Thank you for pointing out the quick restart feature, the medal graphics (I used grey color to give them the old memories atmosphere but yea, it's weak, I think), and things on quickevents. It is my first game using a quickevents gameplay, so I know I need more inputs and knowledge. Thank you, I'll save your suggestions for my next submission :)

- I don't know why but the game for me displays very much to the left (almost out of browser). Fix it, it looks terrible.
- I like that character is moving.
- Clothes seems as if they were taken from the internet, there is very strong edge between objects => this doesn't look good

Overall: As NG 2 star says => nothing new or interesting.

Typical

TrojanStudio responds:

hmmm, thanks, will look into it but it sounds like a newgrounds bug. Yeah there isn't any antialiasing so there are some edges.

FIXED THE FAR LEFT ISSUE. THANKS t4upi

I see blue background one button and nothing else.

therealgamingturtle responds:

yeah im trying to fix it now but my internet is slow for some reason. il fix it soon

Game is ok when it comes to the art of making. Still it's more one-timer for me.

I wonder how much is it about skill and how much about luck. I dislike that in early stages you are forced to wait until next pipe appears - it's common flaw but soemthing like "add new pipe now" would be nice.

Thanks for the feedback. I originally designed this as something to play while listening to a podcast, so that's why the pace pretty slow at first, but I understand why you might find it to be too dull.

It's flash version of SC it's pretty obvious - fine with sounds graphics and everything. My biggest question is what's the point of redoing the game that obviously will be worse than original. If I feel like playing SC I will take it out of the wardrobe and just play it.

Scrolling is really painful.

moligames responds:

Thanks!
This game is one of my attempt.
I plan to develop a new game, it will combine RTS and other genres of games.

Romania has blue in its flag not black!

Pros:

Game is really well made. Music is addicting - it was after I turned off music thatr I could get away from the game. I love that blocks are dripping (and that it takes bubble time to drop), bubbly sounds and reaction as you press blocks.

I enjoyed the fact that the game is build around concept of killing blocks of specific color. In most match I jsut go for matces in last row which usually leads to some other mathces which leads to me winning the level. This was not the case here and that's great. I actually was forced to hunt for blocks of color or bonus matches instead of applaying last row tactic. By forced I mean taking the color matches over others that in any other match 3 would make a better choice.

I liked that flag paints itself but who has time to watch it so it ends up it's kinda nice but you don't have time to enjoy this mechanic anyway.

Cons:

The problem with this game is that it's match 3 and in it's pure form the genre is burn out. We've all seen we all played it. The game is lackigng a metagame. Something that will make me go from 17th to 18th level without thinking it's just another level. For some games it's city building for others there are rpg elements but pure match 3 is no-no.

Game doesn't seem to get more diffficult as it progresses. The difficulty depends only on the proportions in the flag - more proportional tends to be easier.

No NG thropies - this is always a let down when game introduces achievement but doesn't bother to add NG trophies.

Overall:

Well polished game but lacking soemthing extra. I usually would rate it 3 but since it managed to get me into that one more level mode (which lasted 7 levels ) I'm giving 3.5.

RandomBC responds:

Thanks for good feedback. I just fixed Romania, thank You for bug report!

It was ok once I figured out that you need to click on food to eat it.

My problem is that I can't speed my progress. If I get quest kill 10 dogs I need to encounter 10 dogs but it's not something I can influence. The same with special cakes .

Big likes for music - gives nice medival theme and doesn't irritate player

25games responds:

Interesting point of view, thanks for the review. We definitely have to learn more about such things and you opened our eyes a bit more.

Thanks for the compliment on the music. We'll tell him :)

I feel like this made for touchsreen beause mouse controls are terrible. Blocks run away from mouse.

Graphic is weak. Not only because it's not an eye-candy but it makes playing hard. I can't tell at first sight if block i smade of 5 or 4 grids. I need to snap it to grid to see it.

Sounds there are some. Probalbyt better with sound than without them. Still I feel like developer invested not more than 15 minutes of Google searching to find sound effects for this game.

Overall: I have mixed feeling if the idea itself is good enough to make a good game (more like okayish game). Maybe the version for mobile phones is better who knows but I'm reviewing what I see and the game is poor.

jasnagrgurevic responds:

Thank you for your opinion, I value it very much.
Like I wrote in the previous response, in the future we will work on correcting these faults, the sound most of all.

It's not like this app is bad but it's very basic.
-Lacks editable player names.
- Poison counter should be optional (in most cases players won't use them).
- History of damage would be nice.
- No commander format support
- You can't set life to the value (you must click it out using +1/-1)

I see no downlaod for iOS/Android. If you have done it for pc only it's pretty much useless.

codemonkey77 responds:

Thanks for the input, it will be releasing on android very soon. And, I will try to add some of the features you have mentioned before it comes out.

I liked the overall idea and feel. I dint have mouse visible at first when I played it what got on my nerves.

I hate the idea that my players can tackle with my playres. No intercept or picking up ball of the gorund seems like another big no's.

As much as orders seems to be fun I think that giving orders in form of : attack/defend/follow ball could be morecomfortable for player than pointing each ally seperately by mouse.

mootothemax responds:

You can intercept passes and pick up loose balls by moving your teammates to it.
