Well, I'm sorry you didn't like it. I think the port is good (it is very similar to the original version), but maybe the game itself is just more suited for a mobile device.
Regarding dogfight 2, I actually really like it and would recommend people to play it regardless if they like this one or not. I would also recommend they play Luftrauser/s.
But, both those games are more complicated. For example dogfight 2 uses 4 buttons (2 for movement, 1 for shooting, 1 for bomb). Luftrauser/s uses 4 buttons as well, 3 for movement and 1 for shooting. I wanted mine to use only 1 button (because it was originally a mobile game that used single-touch mechanics - for simplicity's sake), so I had to simplify the gameplay. I'm still pretty proud of how it looks like right now, because you have several elements interacting with each other in dynamic and meaningful ways, and all of that is achieved with a single button/touch.
I obviously can't make everyone like it, but I hope that that explanation at least makes what I was going for clearer!

its like asteroids i just made it with a flashy ball ball guy, aparently you have to click on the game before you play, im looking into why that is....
I'm pissed. Going through most of the intro (add infor that you can skip it with escape) and opening level (pre castle) took me a lot o t my time. I finally went to level choice screen and I get only pad controls (I'm on keyboard).
This demo only wasted my time and I didn't get to gameplay.
The game works with keyboard or game-pad, you can see or change the buttons mapping in the menu.
How did you get through the opening level?
You need to move right, run and jump to get through it.
Unplayable due to lags (whenever enemy is on screen). Runs smoothly when no enemy on screen.
Tested on Firefox.
hmm sorry about that. It runs smoothly on chrome for me, but I'll have to look in to why that happens.

I don't know what to do in "press R to reset" room. I know you can jump over barrel but how do I enter door?
You need to destroy the barrel too, correctly.
High on graphics and sound. Story is far-fetched. Huge difference in difficulty between levels and boss (boss much much harder). I feel that with bosses the major cause of me wining/losing was what second attack it will choose as with some attacks I couldn't have chance to dodge them so I was a dead meat right form the start.
The major issue I have encountered is that game became irresponsive (or just got huge fps drop) whenver I unpaused the game and ended the level. It almost made me quit.

Is it possible to return to main menu with opening every goddamn link there is in the world?!
You can return main menu after a round start, press 'ENTER' the pause menu will appears then select 'title screen' then press 'J'.
I can't pass 3rd (I guess it's thrid) level - low ceiling and two spikes. After 50 tries (literally around it ) I gave up. I'm giving 2.5 not because the game is bad because this situation amd eme frustated.
Try using your swords to teleport.
shoot one to the right and then teleport to it.
